Wednesday, September 09, 2009 METHODIST HOSPITAL OPENS NEW “FRONT DOOR” TO WOMEN’S SERVICES WITH CEREMONIES THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 New Labor & Delivery Triage Unit, Admitting and Waiting Areas To Enhance the Labor and Delivery Experience for Expectant Moms WHAT: Methodist Hospital is unveiling a new entrance to its Women’s Services area. The Central Tower of the hospital will now feature a newly remodeled lobby with modern design elements and include an eight-bed labor & delivery triage unit, a designated labor & delivery admitting area, and a spacious waiting area. Media personality Siobhain Anders, one of the first babies to be born at Methodist Hospital, will serve as mistress of ceremonies and unveil a photo of herself that will be hung on the hospital history wall. Methodist Women’s Health has been the trusted source for area women for many years. More than 11,000 babies are born at Methodist Healthcare facilities each year.
