METHODIST STONE OAK HOSPITAL INVITES THE PUBLIC TO SNEAK PEEK COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR AND TOUR ON VALENTINE’S DAY, FEBRUARY 14

Visitors Can Sign Special Valentine to be Sent to Troops Overseas

As a special Valentine’s Day treat for the community, Methodist Stone Oak Hospital is conducting sneak peek tours of the new hospital and a community health fair from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 14. Methodist Stone Oak is the first full-service hospital built in San Antonio this century.

Attendees can support American servicemen and women by signing a huge Valentine’s Day banner that Methodist Stone Oak will send to troops overseas. Self-guided tours will include a free health screening (optional) and free activities in various departments throughout the facility. Complimentary health screenings include glucose (participants must fast 12 hours before screening), blood pressure, and body mass index. Other activities include car seat installation demonstrations, complimentary mini-massages and a baby weigh-in station to help parents monitor their baby’s growth.

The health fair offers family fun with special appearances by the Young Heroes Club® characters and YMCA characters, a moon bounce, and the Literacy Caravan from the San Antonio Public Library. Light refreshments will be served. Each attendee will receive a gift and have the opportunity to sign up for door prizes.

In addition, representatives from the hospital’s human resources department will be on hand to discuss employment opportunities.

Methodist Stone Oak Hospital is located at 1139 E. Sonterra Blvd. For more information, call the Methodist Healthcare HealthLine at 210-575-0355. Methodist Stone Oak Hospital opens March 9.
