Methodist Heart Services will present its HeartCheck® Health Fair and Health Screening on Saturday, March 24 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at South Park Mall, 2310 S.W. Military Drive in the JCPenney court. Free services include body mass index assessment, blood pressure check, diabetes and nutrition education, depression and stress screening and cardiac risk assessment. For glucose check and complete lipid (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides) profile screenings, we ask that participants do not eat 12 hours prior to testing for more accurate results. The American Cancer Society will provide colon health education. No advance registration is required.
